Response to I couldn't find a link but the bees according to the lastest findings...

Some stuff I got together last year about the vanishing of the bees.
A worthwhile documentary.

This documentary takes a piercing investigative look at the economic, political and ecological implications of the worldwide disappearance of the honeybee. The film examines our current agricultural landscape and celebrates the ancient and sacred connection between man and the honeybee. The story highlights the positive changes that have resulted due to the tragic phenomenon known as "Colony Collapse Disorder." To empower the audience, the documentary provides viewers with tangible solutions they can apply to their everyday lives. Vanishing of the Bees unfolds as a dramatic tale of science and mystery, illuminating this extraordinary crisis and its greater meaning about the relationship between humankind and Mother Earth. The bees have a message - but will we listen?

Quote from Iceman:

"Life is life's greatest gift. Guard the life of another creature as you would your own because it is your own. On life's scale of values, the smallest is no less precious to the creature who owns it than the largest." Lloyd Biggle Jr

That's the sum total of it all. Humans want life easy and don't seem to care much about what are the effects.

The Bee is undoubtedly a huge player in the scheme of nature. But we might also look at all the creatures that are in danger of extinction as a result of human greed.

And while the bees are disappearing so are the great forest.

Thus it's a matter of time before the great homo sapien cancer destroys it's creator."

Thanks for bringing The Bees back into our thoughts, Gerard. happy.gif

"The physical size of the creature has no relationship to the magnificence and majesty of its inner life."
