Response to If the Jesuits follow the pope

The pope is the head of a large corporation and its income depends on the number of members. The pope therefore is expected to follow a policy of tradition with occasional revisions designed to maximize the number of members.
..... I am reminded that many so-called "Christianities" follow Paul of Tarsus, and NOT the teachings, nor the lifestyle, of Jesus. They do NOT enforce their own laws, because, as one poster has suggested in reply to me, that they would then have to shut down owing to lack of members.
..... I am also reminded that the oldest existing bible does NOT contain some later added items, such as the resurrection of Jesus, that the current versions of the bible contain.
