Response to Near death, explained
I can vouch for and confirm the events described, having experienced a very similar series of events during surgery some 15 years ago.
hovering a ceiling height - athough there was no ceiling - and interestedly watching all going on below. There were distinct phases - floating, then later standing with a huge lot of people comprising family, friends acquaintances - all deceased as understood in this world.
Communication was by shared thought with memeory recall being total.
Awareness was heightened far beyond any earthly experience, with complete of recall of all your knowledge. I knew I was anaesthetised and undergoing surgery, I realised that I had read of this type of experience some 20 years previously, yet there was instant recall of where (Dr. Moodie's 'Life after Life') Whatever you knew was at your fingertips.
Greatest of all was the 'Light', in this case a 'light' green-tinged illumination all around that comforted, nourished and restored. That uplifted, awakened and confirmed. That dealt with Mind and body (I had a body) A 'Light' that you never wanted to leave.
Having read on such matters for many years, I realised what was happening, but it was of no importance - the sense of All-is-One was overpowering.
The sudden realisation that I was instantly back in Recovery was like a devastating, icy douce, depressing and the sense of loss was inconsolable.
The aftermath has left me stronger, yet more humble, appreciating the struggle so many cause themselves, and others, in Life simply because they do not know.
This is a very brief account that cannot do justice to such a tsunamic happening.
