Response to Dr. Raymond Moody On Understanding Near-Death Experiences as Nonsense
A big thank you Mondo, for this post.
It relates in so many ways and offers expansion of conclusions and simplifies some theory for me.
While I was in the NDE state some years ago, I became aware of where I was, why I was there, what was taking place and in lucidly pulling it all together - I was also under general anaesthetic for abdominal surgery - suddenly I realised that I had read Dr. Moody's book 'Life after Life years earlier.
While anaesthesised I realised I could recall the entire book - while anaesthetised! Items that were no longer in my counscious mind just surfaced as required with total clarity and in sharp detail.
All this while marvelling at this nourishing green light I was bathed in and simultaneously registering the presence of deceased folk I had known. Time did not exist.
I have concluded that Mind and individual consciousness had the ability to be both individual and collective by choice.
Which is where this post reawakens the point of searching by Mind.
