      accidentally run over the neighbor's child..not intending to do so...should you at least apologise for doing so? Even if no malice is intended people get hurt and you are the cause. You need to make reparations..whatever you can for killing that child, though nothing will bring that child back.

      This harm is hurt feelings but harm nonetheless. The softened heart says to do what you can for reparations. In this case apologies and changed behavior should be sufficient.
