Well, no, I don't believe any of us rest in peace. It's more like waking up than falling asleep.

He made some mistakes in life, as we all have. I hope he forgives himself and works on his issues.

What a song, what a video. Has a place in my 'heart'.

Michael will be resting a bit, imo, then.....?

I was not a big fan

But Michael and his music was quite dominant for a time. I did like Billie Jean, The Way You Make Me Feel and a few others.

Apparently he was addicted to opiates, Demerol to be exact? Similar to Elvis I guess. Elvis was a shock to me, Michael not so much. It is sad that he will not be remembered so much for his music, as for the turmoil, the allegations, the "freakishness" that his later years exhibited.

And let's not forget Farah Fawcet

She died yesterday too.

Amazing how celebrities often die on the same day.

C.S. Lewis, Aldous Huxley and John F. Kennedy ....... all on Nov. 22 1963.

Benny Hinn and comedian Frankie Howard died on Apr. 19 1992. Howard's obituary in one newspaper had apparently been pre-prepared or "canned" as they say in the media business, containing a statement from Benny Hill that Howard was a good friend of his and was going to be much missed. In fact, the paper missed because Hill had died the day before -the same day as Howard, if not even a bit sooner. Hill would have loved the way he died and would probably have made a comedy sketch about it if he'd had the chance: they found him sitting in a chair in front of his TV, dead as a doornail. A fresh television contract was sitting in his mailbox.

Mahatma Gandhi and Orville Wright died on the same day ....

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson - two adjacent American Presidents- died on the same day in 1826 .......... July 4th, 1826 to be exact.

Here are some more .........

You're thinking of...

-- Benny Hill.
So sad that it wasn't the other way around.
-- Benny Hill was an excellent Comedian.

-- I really enjoyed his crazy antics.

Benny Hinn, on the other hand...

-- Is a gut-wrenching, money-grubbing, Con-Artist.

And...
Okay, I'll admit it...

-- I enjoy his crazy antics too.

Benny Hinn

And Dianna Ross ........ what a PAIR!!

Yess indeed, given a choice between Benny Hill and Hinn, I would have picked Hill to stay behind.

[linked image]

It's too bad the Good Lord picked Hill to go first. I'm sure Hinn would have LOVED to go in Hill's place (but obviously not to the same place where Hinn probably thinks Hill went).

I used to watch the Benny Hill show quite regularly and then I believe it was canceled. He was extremely versatile. Used to floor me with his American impressions; they were absolutely flawless! (It must be easier to do an American accent than a British one. John Hillerman/Jonathan Quayle Higgins of Magnum PI fame, also did a flawless American accent).
