I've got to point this out. Sarah Palin is the single most unqualified candidate we've ever had for Vice President. I don't know why you would want to vote for her... other than she says things you like to hear. But she has no real education. She's a creationist. She has no ideas for what to do if she is elected.
Glenn Beck is just wrong. Like Rush but slimier. Again, I guess they just say what you want to hear.
And don't use words when you don't know what they mean. Like socialism.

also....Glenn beck...is what he is....an entertainer who is good at THAT.....he comes off as a loon and perhaps even a... jerry springer flunky....but really ...he knows how to say and give his audience exactly what it needs to keep tuning him in every week....but....that is ALL he is. No more, no les than say Howard Stern is for his genre......ya know?

We need accountability in this government. And Sarah and Glenn would demand it.
I don't care if Sarah or Glenn aren't "good" politicians.
They both demand accountability from USA Congress and THAT is what we need.
Its not about what you think they know or don't know. Its about the attitude.

Abraham Lincoln was against slavery, and ironically Obama is African and a democrat and the African voters were mostly democratic.
Democrats = The state can take care of us, so I can sip lemonade all day.
Republican = I can take care of myself, and work for it.
Socialist = The state knows best and should have all control.

She quit being governor when she got tired of it. That's not being accountable.
In order to demand accountability the first thing you do is demand it of yourself. That means little things like answering questions. Understanding the issues that you're deciding have more than one side. Understanding nuance. Understanding that sometimes you can't just quit, you have to keep trying.
She has none of the qualities of a leader other than she gives quality sound bites. You like that. But it doesn't make a good president.
And, frankly, what we need are corporations eliminated from buying elections. But Beck and Palin both LOVE to see the money come rolling in. Neither one is in favor of limits on donations. That's not accountability.
Abraham Lincoln didn't found the Republican Party. He was the first president elected as a Republican. Big difference.
Your definition of democratic is just plain wrong. But you've been fed FOX News talking points. We're all Americans and we're in this together. Why shouldn't there be some sort of safety net if I lose my job or if I get sick? It's not that I want to sit and sip lemonade all day and not work, it's that I don't want to lose everything that I've worked for just because I get sick. You seem to think that's just fine. Not because you really think it is... but because you're angry that you believe someone is sitting on their ass getting something for free that you can't have.
Fire departments are socialist. Police departments are socialist. Anything that we all pay for together for the common good... that's socialist. It's not a dirty word. Medicare, medicaid... socialist.
We all use things that are socialist every day. You drive on socialist roads. The internet is socialist.
Stop falling for the damned talking points. Socialist does not equal SOVIET UNION. Some things are just better handled by government than by a private company.
