I'm having an out-of-brain moment. Does anybody have a good topic for our shelter's upcoming newsletter? I've already written up the standard shelter update/upcoming events/new things to see and the list of kids looking for homes.. I just need something to ramble about for oh, 2 pgs or so

I need some cute new holiday pics too ~ I think I've used all of ours at one time or another. Anybody want their ferrets famous on a small scale?

Have you done a "ferret-proofing your home for the holidays" article?

How about something about changes in weight and hair through colder and warmer months?

My ferrets have been famous a number of times in the newsletter, but I could take some current holiday pics if you still need them.

I know my two big ferret topics for me are bedding and kids.

So either different places to buy GOOD QUALITY, ATTRACTIVE & REASONABLE PRICED bedding. (I have my own ebay contact who I love)

Also there are a lot of people now who are making bedding for a profit to take care of their own personal ferret "rescue". : )

Also -- how having children and pets do GO TOGETHER. I have 4 children and 4 pets. Kids ages, 14, 11, 10 & HAPPY BIRTHDAY DECEMBER 8th -- 2 years old. (I also have another kid on the way)

I have two dogs and two ferrets and we have a PERFECT HAPPY HOUSEHOLD. In respect to pets & kids getting along!! Ha ha

I think more people need to know it does work!! If they have questions about HOW to get it work, they need help!! (I do not CHOOSE to not have a cat -- we just haven't found the right cat, but you do NOT have to get rid of your cat because you are pregnant!!!!!)

Those sound like excellent topics to discuss in the next newsletter. Would you like to write the kids & pet article? I'd be happy to publish it!

I would be interested in that. Am I too late? I don't get my newsletters because they go to my yahoo account and I currently do not have email at home and can't check it very often. This email is my work email, feel free to respond if you would like me to still write an article.

I am quite certain that you can still write the article. Though the Dec/Jan 06 newsletter is already out, your idea could easily be published in the next newsletter (Feb/Mar 06)...and I think that is what Megan meant anyway.

Hehehehe. I have about 300 ferret pictures, but it sounds like you beat me. I've seen your website, but didn't remember seeing a bunch of ferret pics. You should post more!!!

I don't have the storage with my new ISP to have a ton of ferret pics on it. At the same time, I'm web page illiterate and I know I have pictures on my site that are 250k when they should be 40k. I plan on redeveloping my site with the help of a friend of mine, once that happens, look out!
