Buck Brothers recently had the pleasure and honour of being asked to support the mighty Goldfinger on their late August UK tour and to say that we had a fab time with the US punk/ska/pop/rock giants would be a huge understatement.
..
Andy's huge coffin sized Ampeg SVT was dusted off (these were BIG gigs after all), a new merch boy was recruited (the lovely Aidan), new shirts printed and a new Buckmobile was hired especially for the tour.
The tour took in Portsmouth, Oxford, Norwich, Manchester and London. Rather than give a blow-by-blow of each gig, here are the highlights.

- arriving onstage to audiences being pressed up against crash barriers. to all who attended, your fractured ribs were our pleasure
- being asked to sign limbs, shirts, someone's passport (which I believe is illegal - sorry Elizabeth), t-shirts, cds and even someone's Pepsi can. We were armed with good marker pens on this tour.
- In Manchester a fan offered to drink Andy's urine (from a glass rather than directly from the source) as a token of his appreciation. And did. Yes, we have video footage of it. This has made Andy an honorary northerner now. He's dead chuffed.
- This isn't a highlight but it is amusing. The Buckmobile received a ticket just outside Carling Academy Oxford and it happened while Andy was sleeping in the front. The cruelty of traffic wardens knows no bounds.
- we used sex dolls to display our shirts (two women and two men) and one ended up crowd surfing during Goldfinger's Portsmouth gig.

>
- well stocked backstage areas as depicted below (and painted to match the hair of certain band members)

- Everyone on the tour were awash with incredible niceness. All the Goldfinger members and crew were decidedly lovely and fellow support Fin are all top geezers. We miss you all.

- Craig was asked to play drums with Goldfinger on "Miles Away" at Islington Academy in London. It was dead sexy.
- In Norwich, Andy got the whole crowd to cheer for mustard. It is where Coleman's mustard is produced after all.
If we could change anything about the tour only one thing would be altered; it would have been a hell of a lot longer.
We had an amazing time and met many amazing people and, while typing this, the three of us (and merch boy Aidan) are all suffering from Post Tour Blues). To everyone that came along to the shows; thank you.

Much love,
Craig, Andy & Dom
