I watch about half of the time. I never miss the kids playing hockey especially the little ones. I love the big sling shot thing. If anyone has ever gone to a game in Greenville I would say they have the best on ice promos though. Every time I have been there it has been good.
The firecats had some cheerleaders at half time this year who were excellent but by the time they covered the ice for them it would be time to play hockey again.
We have had figure skating a few times and sometimes it was good and sometimes not as good. But I would still like them to do more of that to give the kids who are working so hard a chance to show there stuff.
I do get tired of them making such a production out of throwing a few tshirts into the stands. I know people like to get tshirts and don't have a problem with that but last year they seemed to drag it out too long.
I like the second intermision tradition of the chicken dance and ymca I hope they never change that. Its fun watching people dance especially the guy behind the goal : ). And the chicken dance is always fun! Anyone seen chicken dance elmo yet? It is too funny.
Things I would like to see:
A shot on net promo that is not totally impossible
Kids getting a chance to ride on the zamboni
Another contest to have a fan either sit on the bench or in the penalty box? or maybe with the officials in between?
A best seat in the house promo...got to do this in Jax a few hears ago... Leather Lazyboys on a platform behind the goal by the zamboni entrance?
A chance to win a luxury box for a game for you and friends.
Something with the penalty box...either something gator themed and announced as entering the swamp or a bail bond company???
Something encouraging more signs... contest???
Use a different holiday for special jersey...How many times are they planning to do St Patricks Day? |
