As an American citizen, I would like to thank the support and prayers of our allies. The commitment and sympathy expressed by Canada, Great Britian, Australia, Germany, France, Israel and others is of great comfort to us. Thank you for your friendship and together, we can insure a safer world for future generations.
Canadians are with you 100 percent. When you were attacked, we were also attacked. We will stand with you where ever that may lead. Volunteers are lined up here to help in any capacity needed. Our office buildings closed down early to free up people to donate blood in case needed. Many firefighters left to help out. For only the 4th time in the history of Canada a national day of mourning was declared by the Prime Minister. As a member of Nato we stand with you in that area also. There is much grief and anger and shock here as well. Many Canadians have relatives and friends in the U.S. Special services at churches continue here today. Our deepest sympahies and prayers at this difficult time. God bless America!
Let us sing the song of freedom, for everyone to hear. To let those know both near and far, America does not fear. We all will stand together, as now we know we should. To overcome and surge ahead, to protect what's right and good. And let us not forget the ones, that put lives on the line, The bravest of us all who went before their time. We have a task ahead of us, that seems so hard to do. But we have faith, we have the strenght, the power to pull through. We trust in all our leaders, to guide us on our course. To punish all that are involved, and use whatever force. Don't let the few who can't relate, tear all of us apart. No matter what our color or creed, we are Americans at heart.
I am a very simple person, no different than millions of people on planet earth. As the horrific drama of this attack on America unfolds, I don't think I have ever felt so inadequate or helpless. I do not possess any necessary skills to be of any assistance to my brothers and sisters in New York city or the Pentagon. All I have to offer is my heart and tears to the victims and families of this heinous act. I have never felt so emotionally drained by any other event that has occurred over the course of the 70 years I have dwelled on this earth. God bless American people.
The Islamic Center of Passaic county strongly condemns the plane attack on the World Trade center and the pentagon and expresses its deepest sorrow for the Americans that were killed and injured. ICPC sends out its condolences to all victims of this cowardly terrorist attack. There is no cause that justifies this type of immoral and inhumane act, which has affected so many innocent American lives. ICPC supports all efforts to investigate and immediately capture the evil persons responsible for these heinous crimes. Certainly, there is no justification for these acts from either an Islamic perspective or, in truth, from the perspective of any other moral and freedom-loving people. these acts diminish the freedom of all Americans, including American Muslims. Our condolences go out to all of the victims of these inhumane acts. We urge members of the Muslim community to participate in the blood drive at the Red Cross and local hospitals.
