I don't know why you are all so wrapped up in the "rapture". The term isn't even Biblical! Yes the Bible talks about the catching away but it emphasizes even more that Jesus delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thes 1:10). In Luke 21:36 Jesus told his followers to pray that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man. We get so wrapped up debating about the rapture, we forget about the things that must happen before it can possibly happen.
Jesus said He is returning for a church without spot or wrinkle because she has made herself ready. Today's church is not ready to receive her husband. 2Pet 2 tells us spots are verse 10 them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Keep your ear open to what the Lord is saying and watch as He brings His church in order.
These are days when the dark will grow darker but the light will shine brighter as He once again separates light from dark. If you walk in the light, you will see what He is doing as He establishes His kingdom on the Earth rather than focusing on the darkness that seems to prevail. Yes, wickedness is increasing but God is also moving in His people.
Once God made me read Revelation three times in a row. The first time I saw all the doom and gloom. Man's teachings on tribulation and rapture and all the bad things coming stirred foreboding in my soul. The second time, I saw the martyrdom of the saints and struggles to survive. The third time, I finally saw what the book is about. Chapter 1 tells us it is the revelation of Jesus Christ. Then I saw 1.)the diety and majesty of Jesus. I got a vision of who He is today. 2.)It only takes one angel to put satan in the pit...in God's timing. 3.)God will separate the wheat from the tares. Choose to be wheat and get to know Jesus intimately. Spend time with Him now so He will "know" you later.
The bible is very clear as to when the rapture takes place. This is important for us to understand so that we can prepare and survive through it. We're of no use to the world dead. I belive even in the tribulation we have a job to do. Yes, you will be delivered from the wrath to come(God's wrath). But only if you make the proper preparations today, will you live to see it. Please read through the rapture section again carefully and help spread the truth before it's too late! Sitting around waiting to get beamed up isn't doing the world a lot of good.
