Both apologies and thanks are due.
If anyone has followed the development of northernsurvival.com or viewed messages posted on several internet message boards, they would know of the intent to serve survivalists with the information, products and services that are most desired and needed. The responses have been very few and mostly disappointing.
It is obvious to the staff at Northern Survival that moral, political, social, and environmental conditions are such that it is becoming a threat to the survival of all. Unfortunately; either Northern Survival has failed to reach survivalists, they just do not exist in sufficient numbers to notice, or they are in hiding to avoid being targeted as extremists.
The information section of our site was the fastest to grow and branch out into different areas due to the fact that Northern Survival is not money driven. Our goals are people empowerment, self-improvement, preparedness, and building a network of informed healthy friends. We want the opportunity to prepare people with survivalist items at unbeatable prices, plenty of free information, gifts, and discounts.
One of the topics we considered providing information on was "Surviving the Tragedy of War". In the search for links we found many Jewish sites that focussed on what happened to the Jews. World War II probably killed more than 46,000,000 people and up to 6,000,000 of that number being Jews. Information of the plight of the Jews is plentiful and justified but we wanted more than what we were getting from our searches, after all 46,000,000 people died. What could we offer that would enlighten.
Then along came Zundelsite. I found the information to be shocking and unique, sure to raise controversy while raising site awareness with questions and comments in my mailbox. I ensured that the link to the site was not one that endorsed it but posed question regarding its truthfulness.
Jewish chat on Yahoo would not talk with me regarding Zundel, even booted me out because they didn't want to discuss that sort of thing. What response I did get (which was very little) from other sources was for the most part very rude and destructive in nature. My personal attempts to raise controversy, the issue of ethics, and of free speech failed to motivate an apathetic audience. I must conclude that most of the world is fat, lazy, and ready for the next big slaughter.
The link will be moved to this page for a while, then totally removed as it serves no purpose, moving most people to thoughts of censorship rather than positive action. I have failed to accomplish the positive effects I had hoped for and apologize to my staff whom I directed, and to those who found Northern Survival worthy of being harshly judged for the link.
Northern Survival does not endorse the false information found on Zundelsite and frowns on all misinformation, racism and actions of hate. We define survival with freedom, quality, and expression. Even though we find the Zundelsite content to be misleading we also value freedom of speech and pray that the truth be found by all that seek it.
Thanks go out to 4 web site owners who responded respectfully with correct information regarding the issue. Although questioning the purpose of the link they did so without being full of hate censorship and insult. The world needs more people to act as these site owners have.
