A free world peace prayer event to be held in Hiroshima, Japan Dec. 12, 2000. A lantern floating ritual will be held the night of December 11 th. The next morning at 8:15 am (the time the A-bomb exploaded) everyone will join hands in a circle around the A-bomb cenotaph in Hiroshima's peace park and have a moment silence. Then all will walk to the great hall (5 min. walk) which seats exactly 2001 people and say goodbye to the 20th century and offer collective prayer that the 21 century will see the end of war. go to site below, click for English text.
