Yesterday my husband and I took our five children to Kerasotes Theatre in Columbus, Indiana to see The Patriot. We enjoyed the movie. We took the idea from the Paul Revere Network to pass out the poem, "A Vision From The Past". This poem is not religous in nature. Our children were so excited about this, as we had all agreed this was the way we would celebrate a meaningful Fourth of July. We had passed out about fifteen poems when a very angry manager came out to inform us that we could not "sell" these things on his property. We tried to explain that we weren't selling anything, and that these were just poems. He was rude to the children, and was not in the least concerned that we had just spent a great deal of money in his theatre paying for seven people to watch the movie.
(Of course this should not be a surprise. This is in a town that recently passed an ordinance to specifically keep a seventy year old man from passing out religious tracts. He was thrown in jail several times and fined for simply handing out his tracts in store parking lots and street corners.)
We have already ordered several copies of the pocket Constitution books, and are trying to figure out a way to distribute these on the Fourth, any ideas?

Anything with a Christian point of view is crashed on yet people like this manager ride the ban wagon with full blessing of the government. This is another location that needs to feel boycott, lets get the word out there.
