Right that most people want are relatively easy to find in you get on the right path. Here is how to find them:
1. Determine what right or solution you want.
2. Start discussing the legal method of obtaining that solution.
3. Use procedural law and substantive law to discuss this right.
4. Avoid consitutional arguments.
5. Avoid personal statements.
Rights abound! You've got them, I've got them, they've got them... What you are trying to explain is how to get the government and law makers to acknowledge them.
After all, is a right denied no longer a right, or just repression?
Umm, this is what we have our lawyers and lobbists for. This is why we have groups trying to defend our legal rights in the courts. This is why we vote for right wing officals.
Not all of us are interested in becoming lawyers. If everyone was a lawyer the world would be very boring and drab. Not to mentioned estreemly short staffed in other professions. My dad's a Carpenter, my mom's an accountant, my wife's a senior citizen care provider, I am a personal protection agent. My five best friends are a martial arts instructor, a bail enforcement agent, two police officers, and a Bill collector. We all deal with the law to. But we have lawyers to deal with the courts. We all cannot be lawyers.
Is that hard for you to understand? Look around. Lawyers are not the bringers of freedom. If you think they are you are delusional.
If you want to work for other people you become a lawyer. If you want to learn how to claim certain rights - you either have to claim them or you don't have them.
Most people just talk. No goals. The end result is that no one accomplishes a goal - because a goal isn't set.
Everyone wants government to reconize certain rights but they cannot be specific enough to figure out what or how to ask for it....until they get into legal trouble...then it is too late.
A lawyer may take on the job of representing someone, but in the end they only pad their own pockets with the suckers money who retained them. You do not need a lawyer to represent you in court, in fact some people would be better off pleading their own case. Lawyers are familar with how the system works and how the courts run. They will stall, phone write letters ask for remands and give their clients bad advice to prolong a case and thereby bleed more money from them. They do not care about win or lose as far as the client is concerned because for them it is a win/ win situation. I have yet to meet one I would trust. Clinton is a lawyer, - would you trust him? The rest are just not as well known.
