Dixon Osburn, co-director of the Service members Legal Defense Network, which defends the rights of gays in uniform has stated that he has great concerns about the possible appointment of Senator Coats as George W. Bush's defense secretary. Senator Coats is the man we need to get behind and let him know the way we feel about the gay community attacking the Boy Scouts.
