Yahoo (a U.S.) company, is going to ban the sale of nazi memorabilia from its aution sites. Yahoo will now screen items before listing them for sale. It will also remove any nazi-related material and ban the sale of items relating to other hate groups like Ku Klux Klan. The issue is: such material was banned in France first and the thing that comes to mind is how can we let some (especially France) non-U.S. court have the authority to tell a U.S. company what to do? Any thoughts out there on this one.
