I just wanted to express my sorrow for the loss of Dale Earnhardt. He was the best circle track driver since Richard Petty. This is a sad day for all NASCAR fans.
Dale Earnhardt was 7 time Nascar Winston cup Champion. He died at age 49 in Sundays Daytona 500 race. He was a Nascar legend and will be sorely missed on the circuit. His wife was with him at the hospital. Prayers and condolences to his wife and family at this difficult time.
Dale Earnhardt (the ironhead) will be sadly missed from the track. Adam Petty died in a similar heavy impact with the wall and Earnhardt's death is the fourth in NasCars major series in less than a year. My sincere condolence and prayers to Dale's wife and family.
This was to be Dale's 8th Cup championship. He had 76 victories and 7 Winston Cup Championships. Nascar has lost its greatest driver ever and I agree it is the most deadly profession. Maybe it is time to examine more space for the drivers, maybe the pack is too tight leaving no space to adjust to sudden difficulty. He will be greatly missed.
I agree with you guys on this one. Dale Earnhardt was universally admired. He earned his nickname Ironhead for having an iron will and being stubborn. It is a deadly profession as the 4 deaths in less than a year point out. Yes, maybe the pack does run too tight, I hope they will look into that point. He will be missed by all.
