This is a silly question.

There was a saguaro on Shea Blvd. between Scotsdale and Fountain Hills (I think.) that cracked me up everytime I drove by it.
He appeared to have his arms up and was mighty excited about, well, the girl saguaro cactus next to him maybe?

Spring 2003, i attended the Fruita Fat Tire Festival near GJ, Colorado. While ambling along a singletrack trail, i saw a gal laying on her side, bike on the ground. She asked if i could help her.
"Sure", i told her. "What's wrong?"
"I fell off my bike and landed in this prickly pear cactus"

She moved herself and revealed many cactus needles stuck on her rear end. I shyly obliged to take them off. She said she was there to meet guys as well, but didn't expect to meet one in this manner!

BURNED FOOT????

August 3 2005, 9:20 PM

My best cactus story happened when I was in high school.
I used to sit on the floor in front of my door mirror to do my hair and makeup everymorning..well one time, I got up and stepped RIGHT ON THE HOT CURLING IRON..it took me a minute cuz it freaked me out and I couldn't decide if what I was feeling was hot or cold...so I stood there..perplexed and then it hit me..it was FLIPPIN HOT!
Anyhow...I ran outside and grabed a leaf from the live Aloe Vera plant in my folks back yard....I sliced it opened and taped the gooey side to my foot with medical tape and left it there till I was done getting ready for school.
Guess what? I took it off and put on my shoes and NEVER A BLISTER showed up!
Aloe Vera is truly a medicine provided by God!!!!
I should have been blistered so badly...but NOTHING!!!
NOTHING I TELL YOU!!!!

L! YAY FOR ALOE VERA!!!

We've got an Aloe Vera plant on our back porch!

For sunburns and stuff. Neat plant, but is it a cactus?
It falls in the 'succulent' category, as do cacti, for sure.
