Viv---it was yellow! maybe that is what caught my eye. These AZ sunsets are unreal and almost every eve occasions.
Dave, that welcome sign for Colorado always puzzled me as it seems to be an example of irony or oxy-moron...could they have made a less COLORFUL sign than that? welcoming you to a state that is so COLORFUL? Always thought they didn't want a sign that distracted you from the natural beauty.

I will say this...the signage for NM at Raton Pass is very colorful! I think I have a pic of that somewhere....
