I boldly took on Shaw Butte, elevation 2149!!! Whew, and in 75+ degree heat at that











Really a fun round trip 4 mile hike.

It is in the same preserve as the other hike I've done, the North Mountain park. I start the hike at the visitor center on 7th Street just south of Thunderbird....right across the street from the resort Pointe Tapitia.
