This just in....today's paper!

So far this year, we have had 24 days reach 110 degrees or above. By the end of today, it could be 25.

For some perspective, last year through Aug. 13, there had been 19 days over the 110 mark.

This past Sunday we set a record high for that date in PHX at 114! Hoooray!

And we ((don't I sound like a long term resident here )) are approaching the all-time number of days for the season above 110.

I love AZ!

inquiring minds want to know. Its like watching the countdown to the shuttle blastoff, 5, 4, 3, 2, ?...... Does this little symbol look like the sun by the way....>o< I think its suppose to rain tomorrow here. Does this look like a cloud....{}

I think we missed it the other day....and now we are getting remnants of Dean so there is going to be an increase in rain. It looks like it won't be happening this week...but it is still warm!!!

UPDATE: today's projected high is 109! so it could happen today..yay! It is 94 at 8:30 am. if not today, temps get back up there the first of next week.
