Response to Overused movie songs

OK...let me give this a shot

Spirit in the Sky - most memorable was in Apollo 13. They played it on their little cassette recorder in the capsule. When the batteries began to go down it played very slowly.

Carmina Burana - The 13th Warrior? And I also believe it was the music blaring from the speakers of the helicopters in Apocalypse Now

Sleep Walk - Hearts in Atlantis - Anthony Hopkins

Fly Me to The Moon - The Frank Sinatra ditty used in Space Cowboys when he lands on the moon.

In the Mood - It's that 1940's Glenn MIller/Andrew Sisters upbeat ditty that plays in almost any movie from tha era. Usually shows the crowd dancing the charleston

Adagio for Strings - Hmmmm. The most memorable use was probably from Platoon.

Bad to the Bone - Used quite often when depicting a bad guy in the movie. He walks out in slow motion while Bad to the Bone blares. T2

Here are a couple of others that are way overused -

Centerfield - John Fogerty
Paint it Black - Rolling Stones used for any Viet Nam Era movie
Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf
Takin Care of Business - BTO
Time of Your Life - Greenday

Any more?
