American Graffiti. This soundtrack not only cooks, but I don't think there's ever been better placement of the songs that were used (think of Toad in Steve's car). La Bamba. Need I say more? The Buddy Holly Story. Granted there were copyright issues involved but the music was incredibly fresh and alive. I think the case could even be made that Gary Busey deserved the Oscar for best actor, but that's another topic. How do I petition to have these oversights addressed?
