Well it's almost time for the wonderful monsoon season...looking like it might be a little late this year usually starts around July 4th and lasts till middle of September. What a wonderful feeling you get from a cool and refreshing afternoon rainstorm after "baking" in the heat all day. And the smell of....well...it's kind of like a mix of rain and woodsy pine from the Sandia mountains. Just an overall sense of fresh and ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'll stop babbling now...lol
just wanted to share......Roger

Yep, we get that too on Colorado's front range. One can usually count on a rainstorm nearly everyday between 2 to 4 p.m.

Love, Steve

    The atmosphere is slowly changing..

...as we speak. Humidity levels are rising daily and weather experts say it may be Wednesday when cool moisture starts. I sure hope so

    Hey Roger,

    July 10 2005, 9:25 PM

I live in Durango,CO but visit my folks regularly in Farmington,NM just across the border. I feel my heart and soul is in New Mexico, however. I love Durango, but the cost of living and limited availability of good work there keeps me looking downstream of the Animas valley.
