Wow...if you can find this brand of salsa in your store, GET IT!
They sell both the green and the red. My daughter says Sedies also has a restaurant in Albuquerque. They obviously use the NM chile in their product..it is GREAT.
I ate the whole jar of green..whew! (in one sitting)

I gotta tell you, El Pinto is the absolute best!! Sorry out of towners, I don't think you can get it outside of NM. If you visit here it's located in the beautiful bosque on 4th street. Check it out!!!

I just had some Sadie's Salsa tonight

I hadn't had that brand for a long time but wow, it had a good flavor and was quite zesty! I still like the Pinto but Sadies is great also. If this salsa doesn't cure my current graft injury, then nothing will!

I'm now a Sadie's convert

After several months' of eating Sadie's Green Chili salsa, i must truely say this is my favorite now. A fresh, roasted flavor, combined with good dose of firey zest is how describe this wonder of edible botanical nature. It's become so addictive, i eat this stuff with cheese + crackers at night!

Hey Dave ....

just getting back to this thread! I still LOVE Sadies, but, man, I have to say that the last couple jars that I have bought of the less hot just about made my mouth bleed!!!! Maybe I am becoming a whimp. Should we eve meet, we'll have to celebrate with Sadies and beer.

hi Phil,
January 28 2007, 11:00 PM
Sadies and beer sounds great! I tried some El Pinto this evening to cool down a bit. The Pinto and Sadies both have great flavor characteristics. I'm finding that trying different brands regularly keeps "burnout" from occuring, lol. Hope you live near a fire hydrant, Phil to cool off

Good to see the interest in great salsa! Dave, funny that Sadies had become your favorite. I should have picked some of the salsas of NM up when I drove through there last week on my move to Phoenix!!!!
I know they can be found here as well, though.
NM Sadies is THE salsa of choice for the Election Committee for Philthelurk!!!!

Went to one of the grocery stores here (Frys) and they did NOT have any Sadies...but, they did have El Pinto...so I will be trying that one. I am sure I can find it somewhere.
