I've thought since a press conference in March that he might not be around much longer. It's a shame, but Chris Spielman is right, Tressel should have owned responsbility from the start, admitted everything that happened, and asked for the chance to make everything right given his reputation. He didn't fight hard enough.
Personally, I think the players should be kicked out also. Five games doesn't seem enough any more. Partially to set an example, yes. Former player Craig Krenzel had a good observation, the players today feel entitled. "There's been a culture change that I've seen over the last five, six years in terms of guys coming in with a sense of entitlement," he said. "It's no longer good enough just to have a chance of being a Buckeye - as an opportunity and a gift. They look at it (today) as, 'Hey, it should be more.' I couldn't fathom selling my Big Ten ring or gold pants."
For now - Let's go Luke!
