Read this article earlier today & thought it was interesting.

I gotta say my Mom liked music. She liked Rock N Roll. We played (for those who remember them) 45's every Saturday morning to do housework. She also was a big John Denver fan. I think my Daddy was a bit more country - he really liked the song When We Get Behind Closed Doors (a hit in 1973) by Charlie Rich. My folks came from the WWII era. My Dad was in the Navy - that would be why she loved the song Harbor Lights. I know she had the copy as sung by The Platters in 1960. She played it frequently when I was little.  I always think of my folks when I hear that song.

Anyways, I thought this was interesting. Got me thinking.
