went last night to set up and saw so many fun holiday decorations and gifts I'm sure I'll spend twice as much as I sell.

ok, maybe I wasn't good

 

a peanut butter pie with chololate crumb crust and whipped cream at this resturtant this week and were changed...to the point we went back and ordered a whole freakin pie to bring home.
we found a hole in the wall pastery shop in Newport, called Volta. it said "European pastries, carribean(sp?) and african too.
this darmlin tiny Jamacian lady with the thick accent gave us a pastry with cream cheese in the middle the second we walked in and we we in taste-bud heaven. her variety was VERY limited, only 3 kinds of pastry, but man oh man each kind was to die for. we drove home today by way of her shop, but sadly it was closed. we were gonna really buy a lot of whatEVER she had going on. I saw her working in the window but her Closed sign was up. I am still kicking myself. I mean 10:30 on a SAT. MORNING ..closed???? i SHOULD HAVE GONE UP AND KNOCKED! opps cap lock sorry.
she seemed SO grateful 3 days ago when we went in and bought a total of 6 pasteries.

an incredible bakery that was about two blocks from the house we rented. I'm sure it wasn't the same, I would have remembered a Jamaican lady. A valuable lesson. Always stock up on pastry.

and our socks sold out, lol. one lady even ordered more. 

For the first time I had a really rude customer, she kept pulling out shirts and saying 'eww' she didn't like anything but the classic spiral. and she didn't like the men's tanks, said the armholes were too low. To be honest, I don't care for that style either, but I was still surprised she was so critical.

well about 12 hours ago from one most amazing trip. Can't WAIT to write about it.
whatta blast turtle Zoey(new assistance dog)and I had at the beach. record or near record setting waves! whatta beautiful site!!!!
Our next adventure is Nov. 20th we have tx to go see "so you think you can dance" top 10?top 12/ dancers from last season at The Rose Garden Arena!!!

Maynerd stayed home and got the kitchen cabinet doors almost all finished YEA!!! he is feeling so good! It is awesome to see him happy and busy again.

Lincoln City area (near where Grape stays at the beach) had an actual tornado which took the roof off one house and destoyed the second floor of another one. Plus huge waves.

Glad Maynard is feeling so good. Enjoy the dancing show.
