and I believe she is around 7 years old! So many will take puppies, but dogs over 3 o4 4 are much harder to get adopted, for no good reason.
Sunday night was likely Daisy's first overnight, so there may be adjustment issues to a new place, which could only be expected.
Early on, Jonelle said Daisy wasn't barking, so hope that stayed the same, LOL

Pay...she is about 7 years old and was rescue down in Yuma. She was found on the side of the road . She ended up at AZ Beagle Rescue. I have always rescued my dogs...We rescued Jimmy when he was 4. There were so many Senior Beagles that needed homes...I wanted them all!!
Daisy so far has been adjusting very well...although yesterday when I had to leave for work about 11:30 she DID not like it at all!! I was loading up my car and could hear her "arroo-ing." My Mom ended up coming and getting her as I was at a lunch meeting. I think until we have a little more time and she feels comfortable, she will head to Grandma Dog's house while I am at work. I have heard and read that Beagles like companions (and my cats are not working..haha). BTW, Opie and Artie are somewhat adjusting.
she is new to all of us...I keep telling that she is "loved" here by so many people and she just looks at me and gives me a kiss
My mom is in love with her..LOL
Thank you everyone! We rescued Daisy on Sunday at the Beagle Fest...

Little Dog and I have been talking about what kind of dog to get for the family. He of course wanted every dog he saw. He fell in love with one of my mom's friends Beagle name Scout and told me that was the type of dog he wanted. I did some research on line for rescues for Beagles and it just so happened that last weekend they were having this Beagle Fest. Daisy's Foster's name was Cream Cheese and Little Dog "loved" that name and wanted to see her immediately!! The Foster Mom changed it as she didn't respond to Cream Cheese and looks more like a "Daisy." We spent some time with her that morning and we all just instantly fell in love with her. She is really mellow and very cuddly. She follows Little Dog around everywhere...in fact she is sleeping with him right now. It is his Best Friend. We all felt we have made a really good choice to our Dog Family.
I think MyJimmyDog would approve from above
Sorry about the pictures....my Photo Bucket is working. I think Pay is going to help...Thanks Pay!
