I don't understand not letting people, especially close friends, know you're sick. Sure there's the privacy thing, and I wouldn't want a bunch of sad people around me. But having those last words can be so important. I'm sure we've all lost people and wished we could have told them something, how we felt about them, or how they made us feel. I guess it's another example of not putting off what you shold do today. Let people know how you feel. Tomorrow may be too late.

and withholding something that important is the same as lying.
it is selfish.
but her death has rocked me. she was someone that made many feel like we knew her.
