Her shoe came off behind the senior center - 1st lap - the other girls were all avoiding it. When they cleared, a race official picked it up and gave it to the official who was west of the road. I think he actually gave it to her as he did not have it in his hand by the time all the girls had passed him. She must have handed it off to someone somewhere further as she did not end the race with it. I don't know at what point she lost the sock.
