I know that there are nearly no Ultra Runners in High School, but there is a cool event at Movin Shoes this weekend if anyone is interested.
Scott Jurek, one of the more accomplished Ultra Runners of all time, will be running from our store, giving a short presentation, and then having a book signing for his new book "Eat and Run"
His story is a good one, and his accomplishments are pretty amazing. This would certainly be a valuable experience for many runners.
8:00am: 10k Run from the store to the summit of Mt Soledad and back. This is not a race, just a run.
9:15am: Presentation and discussion with Scott Jurek
10:00am: Book signing
