Ashton Eaton breaks the world record by 13 points. His score for each event are as followed:
100m 10.21 (1044)
Long Jump 8.23 27'0 (1120)
Shot Put 14.20m 46'7.25 (741)
High Jump 2.05m 6'8.75 (850)
400m 46.70 (973)
110m H 13.70 (1014)
Discus 42.81m 140'5 (722)

Imagine once Ashton Eaton starts to throw better then the world record might go over 9,300 If Ashton can atleast get 15.50m in the shot and 50m in the discus and hitting his PR in all events. Another cool tidbit Ashton now hold the world record in the decathlon 100m, and Long Jump. His life time best of 13.34 in the 110m Hurdles would also break the world record but achieved this at this year's Pre Classic.
