Hey gang-

What better way to spend a Saturday than shooting Field Target in the morning, and squirrel hunting in the afternoon. Had the opportunity to hitch a ride with John B. and Tammy to shoot FT at the Good Ole Boys airgun club in Pulaski Tn. Shot so-so, but had a wonderful time none the less.

Thanks Roz!! Great fellowship with good people, and lot's of nice airguns to see up close!

I arrived home from the match in time to get in an hour or so of hunting-May 10th being the opening day of the spring squirrel season in Tennessee, which runs through June 14. I had been thinking of trying out the new Diana 52 in 25, but decided to give the Dave Slade tuned Panther 34 (22) a spin. Purchased the gun off the Yellow classifieds (thanks Rick!) and I'm better at hitting what I aim at with this than the .25 sidelever, which I'm still getting used to-

After skulking around as quietley as possible thanks to the dampness from all the spring rains I finally heard that tell tale swaying, swooshing sound of Mr. tree rat in the canopy above, and as it's it's already quite green and lush, had to be patient for a shot- so I just waited, and he eventually came straight down the trunk of the old hickory, and gave me a clear head shot- pulled it left a little, was going for right between the eyes, but it was close enough-

PeaceOut
