I have been modding 2240s and 2250s for several years.
I have got almost 40 fpe from a 2250 with a 14" .22 barrel.
They are increadable guns, and loads of fun to mess with.
The longest shot I ever took on a live target was with a 2250 with a 24" barrel that was shooting about 860fps. I took a clean Headshot on a Treerat from 120 yards. That 2250 only got 8 usable shots from an 88gram Airsause bottle. (A slight modd from the 300-400 advertised shot count)
I apreciate the offer, but what I am looking for is a light, small gun that my daughter can handle without a rest. She is tiny framed, and weighs less than her 4 year old sister that is perfect size for he age.
I had thought about taking her with me to a 10M shoot at my local club, asking if she could compeet, using both hands, as opposed to one like all the adults. If I set it up and have her practice, I know she would give some of the adults a run for their money. She can shoot my 10M match pistol very well, but it is to heivy for her to hold without a rest.
PS. she does not like my "Noisy DAQs" The 286fpe DAQ Pistol with the 12" .50 cal. barrel that has more muzzle flip than a .45 magnum.
Has anyone here ever shot any of the pistols I mentioned above?
