the missus scores her first kill..

she was in my hair regarding my nightly lamping trips so i took her along. asked her if she wanted to take the shot ,half jokingly as she is squeamish bout such stuff. she agreed and i gave her the disco with a Barracuda up the spout. she spots a jack and say excitedly "i see one! " it was a poor angle for a shot with the gun braced on the rear seat window of the car which does not come all the way down. i told her to aim 1 mil dot down from center as the jack was around 15 yds from the car and was sure she would miss. i even told her so.

she snapped at me to keep quite and the Disco sent a Barracuda on its deadly way. the jack just went down for the count and after a few secs started the "Disco Dance of Death". picked it up and found that the pellet had gone through both eyes. in thru the left and out thru the right.
man she is not letting me forget this shot for a long time !
i asked her (in dread) that since she can shoot so well i think we should get her a new gun. thank god she has declined at the moment but i better hide the disco and pellets or get that rws 34.
the funny thing is that she has no knowledge of eye relief and the gun is set up for me but still it was a perfect kill.
any way it was great fun!
