Thanx for the article Dan. I FREQUENTLY run across

JOGGERS, BICYCLIST, HIKERS and DOG WALKERS when i go to the National Forest (blm land) and it is a peave. The people are friendly but it does erk the @%&* out of me when a hiker walks up to me when i'm shooting to talk shop. That's why i leave the city. Not that i'm not friendly or wanna share gun info but, that's not why i'm in the NF. I'm there to be left alone and to hunt/shoot. About a year ago, me and my buddy were in the N.F. Ground Squirrel and Jack Rabbit hunting and we heard a car driving up. They drove right up next to us and 4 people and 2 big dogs got out of the car and the dogs went WILDLY running all over. Me and my buddy were pissed but we talked to the people anyways and they were from another city over 100 miles away and they just wanted to come to the NF to walk there dogs and get out of the house for the day.

So yeah, at least that part of the story about the West NF being over run with hikers, power walkers, bikers, and star gazers is very true. And its sad that a bunch of folks who don't like hunting can come to an area that is known for shooting and hunting and ask or make changes to suit themselve. God i can't wait to leave California. I'm just about to give my wife an altimatum...lol.

I want to ban BICYCLING and HIKING and DOG WALKING and Anit Gunners in NF. LOL.........howz that?...lol
