Okay, bear with me here....
I sold an air compressor online. The customer paid promptly, and I strapped it by the base to a small pallet for shipment via UPS.
UPS broke the plastic sleeve that covers the fan, which directs air over the engine to help cool it.
It arrived broke, and the customer promptly mailed me pics. I submitted a claim, and for some reason, UPS shipped it back to me....doing as poorly a job as they did the first time, breaking the plastic sleeve even further!
Now, UPS has paid my claim, it is being fixed by having all the plastic parts put back together and fiberglassed back in place, hopefully making it stronger than it was originally.
Upshot is, the customer wants his money back after all the drama, and I can't blame him.....so, the compressor is back up for sale. I don't have current pics of it as it is still being fixed. It has been checked once again by the shop and is is in working order.
It is an electric, 220 outlet powered, 4500 psi air compressor from American Eagle. I'll take $2000 with the repairs done to it.
THIS TIME it will be shipped in a closed crate....won't let those monkeys get ahold of it again.
