QB stock stained on one side

I carved a QB stock that I could not put up for sale because it contained too much white wood.
Now, the left side looks really good.


The right side had the white wood, so I used a water based stain and some of it looks a little muddled as it crossed the colors.


Here's a close up of the forearm with the stained wood.


The higher comb and the fuller forearm makes it easier for an adult to hold and shoot.
