.491 dia sized, and group shot with dragon slayer at 50yards. cast 20 to 1.
5 shot averaged 600fps. 220fpe. if your dragonslayer shoots .490 roundball it will shoot this bullet. this was shot with a stock gun. thank you chuck for your help. the group was 1.250 ctc at 50yards.

Brian, I'm glad it all worked out the way it did. There is always some uncertainty when designing a bullet and even more so when in the constraints of airgun velocities. The photo shows me that it is remarkably stable as defined by the crisp, clean holes that show no elliptical tendency.

yes

it is. if it wasnt for the last shot at the bottom of the group it would have been .750. we cast it a little harder than pure lead so it would penatrate better at longer range at the velocity listed.

Meplat

The meplat is 85% of bullet diameter or in this case .419". It is a whitworth improved design with very narrow driving bands, The bands are suffecient to impart spin via the rifling and seal the bore, but yet narrow enought to have a very low friction coeficient.

I'll take a couple hundred of those in .25 for the Sumatra.
