Not to sound like a trouble maker, but I am not just a little tired at trying to educate folks at the state level of Ohio in reguards to useing big bores in this state to harvest deer. I am greatful in reguards to have the legal right to be able to hunt pigs and other critters with airguns. I told one offical in a heated letter I guess there are other states that allow airguns to hunt deer, and that I wouldn't buy my deer tag this year for that exact reason. In which i have harvested alot of deer in my state with Shotgun, Bow,and Crossbow, as well as Smoke Poles. I guess it is the principle of the thing to me. Maybe we should all band togeather as fellow sportsmen to get the laws changed in the states to allow Big Bores for Deer Hunting. They told me a big-bore dosen't have a removeable breech plug for one
like a muzzloader also one game warden called it a hobby. This isn't a hobby to me as I am sure it isn't to others. It is a way of life. I wonder if they told this stuff to Lewis and Clark in reguards to big bore airguns ha Ha!!!!!
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. Just send me the bill for the thearpy session. I will stack it up with the rest. Ha ha!!!!!

It is like what I am fighting in WI

We have had to hire a lobbyist to help us regain access to metal detect on state land. I can tell you that if your state has a conservation congress, you would be better off starting there and give demos of what big bores do. Take the power back from the beaucracies and give it back to the people!

In WI the hunters vote on new regs. All states should have to go public with any changes. If you get it to pass in a majority of the counties, the DNR can't stop it.

We just got the atlatl legal for small game. One guy put the education time in to show the power of the atlatl in regards to FPE like a bow or crossbow.

Walter, Are you close to Antigo, Wi? I hunted back in 1978 for deer. It was around Peligan Lake. Cold as all get out.

Thanks Guys

Thanks guys I am glad yet feel bad that we all have the same feelings in reguards to the issues of our state laws in reguards to hunting with big bores. As you all know you can take the horse to water but you can't make'em drink the water. We use to have a saying when I was Union VP of the Amer Postal Workers out of Dayton and Xenia Ohio "The Struggle Continues". Maybe just maybe in our lifetimes someone will get educated not stay stupid as it is at present. I know we won't hold our breath right?
Thumbs!!!!
