I've had a lot of friends who go to, or have graduated from, the University of Arkansas. And I'm glad to know them.

I actually had a class there I took for free....it was an African American Gospel Choir, and we traveling here and there, singing and making a rukus. It was awesome. In it for four semesters. Met a lot of people, in creased my vocal strength, etc...people treated us like Celebs! :P swoon j/k

They have an awesome campus...a nice, big water fountain in front of the Union that people are always putting bubbles or colored dye in...a nice, long hall in the fine arts building with some wonderful tiles on the floor that my best friend Windsor and I spent a LOT of time looking at every time we'd walk through that area, just so we didn't have to stare at all the perfectly beautiful pctures of naked people doing things that I can't talk about if this is a "rated G" forum. lol Well, you know art halls.

Windsor and I got kicked out of the Fine Arts building once...for singing about Jesus in the hallway. hehe I guess maybe we could have been a little quieter, but why the heck do they keep all the art classroom doors open, anyhow? But at least we were singing about something that might point someone closer to Christ when we were given the boot.

I've personally THOUGHT about going to the U of A, but did not have to entertain the thought for long, before I had an opinion formed.

This is not to discourage someone else from going to this school, if they are really feeling lead to attend there. But, personally, I don't really see myself spending thousands going to a school that teaches so much "baloney"...or what some people on this forum know as "junk and crap". I guess it's just about the same as most secular colleges as far as morals and beliefs go. But why spend all that money for nothing but a degree in something or other? Why not attend a Christian school where you can be grounded in things that are REAL, LASTING, not to mention TRUE? I guess going to a secular college could be a wonderful opportunity to be a witness, but, personally to me, I think there are still other ways to be a witness for Jesus and serve Him.

There is a massage therapy school here that my brother and I are thinking about going to, some day in the future. Honestly, I think I might attend a Bible school somewhere, where I can study theology, music and local/foreign missions....or something along that track. But if not, then I'll just get married and have a family...and if not, I'll probably just go ahead and go into missions. But most likely, won't be at the University of Arkansas, unless it's to bug someone from here who decides to move here and do that.

OK..someone else's turn to chat n spat.

***So long...and thanks for all the fish***
