All right, Steve and Keema. You convinced me. Here I am even though I have absolutely nothing to say(*blushing*).

I have lived in Arkansas off and on (mostly on) since 1996. I lived in Gentry (near Fayetteville), El Dorado, and now Jonesboro. So far, I like Jonesboro the best as far as the town goes and Gentry as far as the scenary.

Anybody else from the Jonesboro area on here?

Welcome Alayne!

I think Precious was born in Jonesboro. Right?

So what do you think of the colors and design in here? Arkansas rocks the house!

Love, Steve

    Hey girl, how's it going?

Glad you posted, even though you have nothing to say. You are the kindest, sweetest girl, and I am so glad to know you. Precious is from Jonesboro, I think. So you guys should talk some time! It's always good to hang out with Christian brothers and sisters.

I just got back from church and lunch with some people I've just met from there. We had a pretty good time, and all kinds of opportunities to get involved in the ministry there are popping up, so I'm really jazzed. It's been a couple years since I've been really involved in anything, and I'm more than ready.

But, anyhow, let's meet up in Jonesboro some time for lunch! Just lemme know when a good time is, ok?

Take care, ok? And let me know how the little bug problem goes, ok?

    ~Keema

    Alayne...

    June 19 2005, 11:56 PM

I wish I could call you tonight. My dad's dad died, and it feels awful.

I hope you had fun with your friends today at the shoot out. Wish I could use a gun!!! My dad TRIED to teach me ONCE....lol. It was a huge shot gun, and when I shot it off, I fell flat on my back!

    I'll call you

    June 20 2005, 10:28 AM

I will call you today, girlie. I am sorry I didn't think to give you my number the other night.

We didn't end up going shooting. It was hot, and we went back to our new friends' house and played a board game, which was a lot of fun. It went really well meeting them for the first time. I think we'll be able to be good friends. Time will tell I guess. :-) I'm encouraged. I was REALLYREALLYREALLY nervous to meet them. I mean, I was shaking all morning and dizzy. But they were very nice, and I loosened up and had a really good time.

Come see me, Keema, and I will teach you to shoot something that doesn't shoot you back. We've got a couple nice guns that don't kick real bad and they're a lot of fun!

I am praying for you, you've got to know that. And I will talk to you later today.

    Much Love,
    Alayne

Hey, that's so cool, girl. I'm glad you had a good time.

Yeah, that WOULD be awesome. I am a little bit skiddish when it comes to guns, though...whether they kick back or not! But hopefully, you can help me get over my fear. lol You never know when it might come in handy to know how to shoot one, and actually be able to HIT the target square!

Do you go hunting? That's one thing I'm not sure I could ever do. I can't kill a furry woodland creature...unless I have hungry children at home, and no other way to survive! We used to have lots of animals on the farm, and I had to kill some a few times, and that left me with nightmares for YEARS. Skinning them is not too bad, I guess. At least it's just gross and not so...evil? lol You know what's so weird is I've actually thought about becoming a vegetarian before!!! Isn't that crazy?!

Talk to you later, hon. I'm still waiting for my dad to come online. he was supposed to be here at 11, and it's almost 12 now.

    No hunting

    June 20 2005, 10:52 PM

I don't hunt, and I never will. I don't think I could ever kill an animal on purpose. And I do not hardly eat meat at all either. Just a little chicken or turkey from time to time.

We can teach you to shoot. The range where we go is very safe, and usually there's not any other people around when we go either, so I don't have to get embarrassed about missing the target, which I do a lot. I'm not a very good shot, but I enjoy going shooting anyway.
