I was watching Brandon Beck showing the weather map and I realized Mountain Home is shown in KY3's viewing area! So, it must not be that far away.

I grew up on the northern part of Springfield station's viewing area (Versailles, MO). We had this antenna that stuck up 20 feet above the house in order to pull them in. We could get KY3, KOLR10, and for ABC you had to turn the dial that rotated the antenna to pick up Columbia, MO.

I'm always amazed at people my age that watched Welcome Back Kotter, Green Acres, or Leave it to Beaver growing up! I'm always like "Man, those shows were before our time". They're like "Yeah, but we had cable with 30 channels and it was on the reruns".

When I was in school, we had a field trip to KY3 and I have Tony Beason's signature and also Lisa (I don't know her new name).....pretty cool huh????
I always thought Ned Reynolds looked kinda funny...but he seemed nice!!!

Keema, KY3 is the local NBC affiliate and the one with the best newscast in the Ozarks in my opinion.

Precious, remember the goofy "Give me three" commercials with people from all over holding up three fingers? I really liked Christina King because she was such a super-sweet person and was sorry to see her move to California.

I'm sure Tony and Lisa were nicer to meet in person than the one older guy I met. He was an older guy that did the weather along with Tom Dye and they're both retired now. He came into my store and stopped close to where I was working so I said "Hi, can I help you with anything". He got all smug and was like "You don't have to bother me just because I'm a celebrity" or something like that. I should have told him that we're supposed to greet EVERYONE who comes within 10 feet, it's called the 10-foot rule, so I wasn't that impressed with him. Oh well.

I live on the SW side of Springfield. I love it because, while I'm still in the city limits by 100 feet, I'm on the outskirts of town and have a beautiful view of trees and a field out my living room window.

I didn't like Christina when she first started out...guess you just get use to the ones already there. She was pretty cool and it was sad to see her leave.

I don't get KY3 now cause I have Sky Angel television....but I heard Tony Beason left...that is sad!

Well, hmmm, Ask Keema where I live...I suppose out in the country...but not in the boon-docks....I live about 15 minutes from electricity...NO LOL Just kidding! I live that far from the real "town"!!! I live in Mtn. Home.

OH YEAH! ok...

Rhonda lives in this super ultra pertiful little country house, with a cute little white double bench swing outside. I LOVE it there! I'm coming to visit again...SOON! (Rhonda, let me know as soon as you can if you're going to have your kids home next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday...I have those days off!)

Um, oh, and I live out by this beautiful lake, right outside the Fayetteville city limits, with my grandparents and one of my four brothers, Hansel.
