Am I invited to the Festival? My schedule keeps changing and I'll have to see if I can get some time off

You seem like a pretty interesting person to get to know, and since I think you said you're moving to NW Arkansas anyway (or did I just imagine that? was it someone else?), then it would be a great opportunity to meet you so whenever you move here (if that was YOU that said that here on Steve's site) you will already have a friend who know from the area! Whoohoo! (Although, if you're moving here, I'm sure you already know at least one or two people, right?)

PS... I think everyone is invited (right, Steve?)...it's just that nobody but me, Precious, Steve (obviously) and Kansas Kelly have shown an interest in coming. I guess most other people live too far away, and it takes a stronger effort to come...I don't know. (?) Anyhow, I'll be here...I've already asked off work for at least Saturday-Monday.

The Festival will be Friday night, Saturday & Sunday, and I think Kansas Kelly and I need to leave on Monday (Labor Day). If you showed up say, on Saturday morning, that would probably be best!

Hey, Steve...there are two others that would be interesting from MC...one is eddie and the other is Gerry...I think he lives in Texas. He was suppose to meet me in May and go hiking but I forgot to give him my e-mail before deleting my profile from there.

Anyways, I would love to meet whoever is able to come!!!

Eureka Springs on Saturday. That way you wouldn't have to drive ALL THE WAY over to Siloam Springs, and then back over to Eureka Springs. Of course, Eureka is on the WAY BACK to your home, in a roundabout way..kinda sorta. So I don't know what you would want to do...I guess it kinda depends on what you want to do.

Steve, what time would you want to leave for Eureka on Saturday... early morning, mid morning, or afternoon? IT's about an hour and a half or so from Siloam Springs (that is where you're staying, right?). So that's about 3 hours of driving all together, give or take.


Orrr...here is another idear...lol...

maybe we can just do something around HERE on Saturday, and leave the traveling for Sunday? I think they have the Clothesline Fair on Saturday in Prairie Grove, which is about 40 minutes (28 miles) away from Siloam Springs, if everyone likes to look at handmade crafts, etc. ???? And then we could go from there to hiking at Devil's Den State Park, which is about and hour away from Prairie Grove, Ar (Rhonda, you wouldn't have to stay for that if you didn't want to be out driving late back home.)

And that way, Rhonda, if you really wanted to, you could come down on Saturday and hang with us, go back home OR stay with me here in Fayetteville, and then drive up to Eureka Springs on Sunday afternoon (since it's not as far from you)...get MORE fun time in.

OH, and Steve, on Friday night we could take you out on Dickson St to the Common Grounds, if you really want some coffee. Or maybe just Arsagas on the corner of Gregg St. I might have to work that night until like 8:30ish, but after that I can hang with you guys...depends on what YOU want to do at that time of night, after traveling all the way from Colorado.

I hope you guys got all that. It looks better when I write it out on paper as a schedule than when I'm explaining it. lol ;P

Planning:

Plan on sending me your phone numbers a few days before the festival.

Kelly and I will arrive on Friday evening. I'll call you then.

Prepare to meet Saturday morning for breakfast somewhere. Then we'll begin with the activities we mentioned. (Off top of my head: Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, maybe a hike although that might be Sunday)
