We went to Mena recently and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Mena as a vacation spot if you want to see the best of the landscape that Arkansas has to offer. The Limetree Inn is inexpensive with agreeable accomodations, and the lodge at Queen Wilhelmina State Park has some beautiful rooms with views as it is situated on top of a mountain.

We did some hiking, some auto touring, and some rock climbing. It was a great birthday trip.

Wish I had taken pictures, but I was too preoccupied with having a good time.
