Hi!

June 22 2006, 9:19 PM

I only have a minute to type this with moving and the new job and all, but I wanted to say hi!

I've moved to an apartment on J street (yes, the letter J as all of the north-south streets are lettered) in Bentonville! I'm having a blast (thank God) and the orientation for the new job was out of this world. If you find the Zaxby's (chicken restaurant) at the corner of J and Walton Blvd, you're almost to where I live!

This area is truly a wonderful place to live. Keema, I bought some dress shirts for work at the JC Penney's in the Fayetteville Mall and I saw those big white tent pavilions you were talking about. I wondered what they were for.

The streets are nice and peaceful on the weekend, but the population triples during the day. It takes 10 minutes and 6 cycles of the light to get through one intersection. I've found a few shortcuts though. We need both more restaurants and more workers here though. Every restaurant is overflowing at lunch and dinner and every business has a help wanted sign out. The unemployment rate is less than 2% and the help wanted section in the paper is like 15 pages long.

I have to go to the Sisk family reunion in Bradford Saturday. I think they are all going to get a kick out of the fact that I've moved to Arkansas (only lived in MO my whole life). At least I now know what a Razorback is

Brad

Hey, Brad!

June 25 2006, 3:10 PM

Hope you had fun at the reunion! I had TWO weddings to help out with, and THEN my bro and sis in law and I took five kids to see a movie at the drive-in. lol It was a CRAZY day, that's all I can say. But, wow, it was fun. I slept til NOON today, if that doesn't tell you enough! :D lol

Hey, Rhonda, one of these days I'll get around to calling you again!

Oh yeah, Brad...the white pavillion tent things are for concerts and movies, etc. They say that it holds 3,000, but I can't believe it, can you?

Hey, Brad, I thought of something fun to do. My brother has a truck now, so we could take a bunch of people to the drive-in theater on hwy 112 (Garland) here in Fayetteville, and it's only $9 a vehicle. :D How cool would that be? They show on Friday and Saturday nights. I like it because if like four people go, you only end up paying 2.25 a person! :D whoohoo!

June 27 2006, 4:13 PM

BRAD! You moved to ARKANSAS!?!?!

No way! How great is that!?!? You're going to have to come to a BBQ at the folks house. Keema loves coming over. She gets roped into helping remove large stumps. LOL

hehehe

My dad works in Bentonville. He works for corporate Wal-Mart.

Actually, it wasn't even a ROPE...

June 27 2006, 10:52 PM

it was a CHAIN. Fortunately I think the root mass took the brunt of it! It was fun!

Yeah, Brad....Kelly's dad is really cool. You've got to meet him. Hey, and maybe sometime you both can come out to OUR house, too. There's a pretty nice lake here. We have a canoe, but it'll only take two people out, unfortunately. Oh, but we could fix the pontoon boat and go out in that, though, if you guys wanted to.

Keema
