It's all good. The weather is pretty good and I have all of my Christmas shopping finished.
My nephew is spending the day with us today (he is 2) and he has been so good.
My family will come over later for pizza, cake, and candy and we will celebrate Christmas with the kids. They leave for Nebraska tomorrow.
The sadness of not having them here for Christmas, brings tears to my eyes. It's so fun when we can wake up Christmas morning, open presents and just spend time together. But this year is the year that it won't happen.
Sometimes I think of how my family use to be when I was married, how my ex and I are so different now that we are older. Could we have made it work? Why didn't we try harder? Well, we all live and learn and grow up alot. Sometimes we make bad decisions in life but we can't let that hold us back from fulfilling our dreams. So, I don't ponder on what could've been but on what can be and I try to make the days before the kids leave the most special. I only want the best for them.
Just remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are fortunate enough to have your kids with you most of the time, and that has to be great for you. Just rmember that and mayhap it will help you get through not having them arund Christmas morning. Chin up...you are not unappreciated!

A neighbor and a cousin are in the same boat this year. They will be joining friends on Christmas to be part of those celebrations. We always try to look out for people who don't have someone to share the holiday with. Hope you are not alone this Christmas!
